Re-enable via the "COM Add-ins" Dialog

At times, Outlook Add-Ins will become disabled. Follow these steps to re-enable the snapADDY Grabber add-in in Outlook 2010 or 2013.

  1. Click "File" in the toolbar.
  2. Click "Options" in the sidebar.
  3. Click "Add-Ins" on the left-hand navigation.
  4. At the bottom of the dialog in the "Manage" dropdown, select "COM Add-ins" from the menu, then click "Go".
  5. Ensure the checkbox next to "snapADDY Grabber" is checked. If it is not, check the checkbox and click "OK" to re-enable the add-in.

Re-enable via the "Disabled Items" Dialog

Sometimes, these steps are not enough to re-enable a disabled Add-In. If you do not see the Data Everywhere ribbon in Excel after following the above steps, please try the following to remove the add-in from the list of "Hard Disabled" add-ins.

  1. Click "File" in the toolbar.
  2. Click "Options" in the sidebar.
  3. Click "Add-Ins" on the left-hand navigation.
  4. At the bottom of the dialog in the "Manage" dropdown, select "Disabled Items" from the menu, then click "Go".
  5. The Data Everywhere add-in may be listed here. If it is, click on it and then click the "Enable" button.
  6. Once you've completed the above steps, select "COM Add-ins" from the Manage dropdown, click "Go...", and check the checkbox next to Data Everywhere.
